Notary and Certification

(For Notary, Apostille & Legalisation Services)

Some International jurisdictions and countries may require you to have your fingerprint samples officially certified or notarised.

CERTIFICATION

BY A SOLICITOR

We do have the ability to certify your fingerprints upon the production of a government issued ID for a fee as Fingerprints Today is run and managed by a Solicitor. In certain instances the fingerprinting officer may have to provide an affidavit providing confirmation that he booked your prints. The cost of the said affidavit is €30 (inclusive of VAT) which will be in addition to the standard fingerprint fee.

BY A NOTARY PUBLIC

We utilise the services of an independent notary public for any fingerprint samples that require notarisation. However we will work with a notary of your choice if necessary.

We GUARANTEE that you will get your fingerprints taken.

NOTARY SERVICE

The notary will offer a specific service to meet your requirements. This would include verifying your identity and it might require attendance at the finger printing session. Notarial fees are billed by and payable directly to the notary and are distinct and in addition to our fees.

APOSTILLE

Some countries may have an additional requirement that the notary’s certificate is also verified by an Apostille, or by an Apostille and by the consulate of the receiving jurisdiction. If the said legalisation is required, the notary can arrange this and it will be provided as a separate service.
